Download
Introduction
There are two ways in which you may download WISP from this site: directly or via BitTorrent. The server that hosts the WISP site does not have a lot of bandwidth, so you are encouraged to download using BitTorrent if possible; it will put less load on this server and your download will go much faster. However, if this is not possible, you may still download directly.
You may wish to take a look at the Requirements and Known Limitations section of the support page to ensure that you will be able to use WISP on your system.
BitTorrent
To download WISP via BitTorrent, you need a BitTorrent client such as Azureus. Most if not all BitTorrent clients are free to use. To use BitTorrent, you download a small "torrent file" which contains information about the file you are downloading and provide it to your BitTorrent client. The BitTorrent client then obtains parts of the file from many places at once rather than just one server, allowing you to obtain it faster.
To start downloading via BitTorrent, please click one of the torrent file download links below (most likely the top link, which corresponds to the newest version of WISP).
For a history of the changes throughout these various versions, please see the change log.
Direct Download
As stated above, BitTorrent will result in higher download speeds than directly downloading the CD image. However, if you cannot use a BitTorrent client, it is still possible to obtain WISP using one of the direct download links below. You will most likely want to download WISP from the topmost link, which corresponds to the newest WISP version.
Source Code
All of the WISP sources and other related material are available for download only via BitTorrent. Please select a torrent download link below.
License
WISP is licensed under the GPL version 2. As a general summary, WISP is free for you to use and distribute. If you distribute WISP, you must make available to the same audience the source code for that version. For the specifics of these terms, please refer to the actual GPL version 2 license, which you can read here.
